This snapshot was made in 2008 and was printed in 2009 on a small, portable Canon Selphy dye sublimation printer. This process is commonly used in photo kiosks found in drug stores and photo labs. It does not require chemicals, and so the machines can be small and are more efficient than the larger chromogenic color printing machines.
