Notes on this view:

This image made in the 1980s is a Cibachrome print, the brand name for Ilford’s photographic print material that used the silver dye bleach process to print from transparencies (a direct positive print process). This print is in exceptional condition, with only minimal dye fading. The good condition of the print is likely due to the type of dyes used; the silver dye bleach process uses azo image dyes that are more stable than the dyes formed in development of the chromogenic color process.
