This stereoview of Niagara Falls was commercially produced as part of a series of scenic American views made by J.J. Reilly; a photographer based out of California. Stereoviews were extremely popular in the 19th century and were often sold by catalog. This image has been labeled with the reference number 369 to facilitate ordering. Due to the period in which they were popular the majority of stereoviews were made on albumen printing-out paper.
